The art of the photograph- the thrill of capturing a perfect moment in time. I’ve been chasing that high for almost 2 decades, from my first 35mm film camera to the digital revolution. My first passion, beyond losing myself in a good book, was the darkroom. The enchantment of developing a fresh roll of film was like falling in love for the first time. From my homemade darkroom in my parents’ basement, it was pure magic.

 

I enrolled at the Savannah College of Art and Design with the dream of turning my hobby into a profession. I learned the craft and business of photography, from studio lighting to natural posing. I started second-shooting for a few local event photographers. While the introvert in me hated the schmoozing, I did love the excitement and authenticity of photographing weddings. When I finally completed my Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, I returned to my home state of NJ and embarked on my journey of professional portraiture and wedding photography.
