Q. How many hours do I need photo and video coverage for?
​
A. I do recommend a minimum of 6-8 hours for full coverage of your day. Coverage will start near the end of getting-ready and generally ends as the reception is wrapping up (after cake-cutting or exit). If you are planning multiple locations or a longer ceremony like a mass, or just want more time for getting-ready footage, definitely consider 8 or 9 hours.
Q. Why do I need video coverage of my wedding day?
A. When your wedding day arrives, months (years?) of planning will all be over in a matter of hours. Photos and videos are the keepsakes of your memories, because all of those special moments will become a beautiful blur in your mind. Video coverage has the added element of sound and raw emotion in real time. There is no better way to preserve the fleeting high of your wedding day!

Q. What is the difference between 4k Digital Video Super 8 Film?

A. My video packages include the options of both 4K digital video and Super 8 Film. 4k is the most widely used and familiar format for professional videography, while Super 8mm is analog, real film- like a retro home movie. Films are processed in a lab, scanned and delivered digitally. Super 8 footage is presented as its own short film and can also be edited into your 4K highlight video. You will receive the reel of 8mm negatives as a keepsake.

Q. How are 35mm film photos delivered?
​
A. Hybrid photo packages include both digital and analog 35mm film photos. The film is processed and scanned by the lab and delivered as high resolution images. You can purchase prints printed directly from the negatives or from the digital files (which can be edited). You will receive the negatives as a keepsake.
Q. How do you record sound for my video? What about music? Do you handle lighting?

A. I use on-camera boom mics and off-camera audio recording (lavalier microphones) for your vows & toasts. I have several microphones and recording options that can be used even with Super 8 exclusive packages, and I will coordinate with your DJ to ensure sound quality. I can use music recorded during your day as well as your choice of songs for your videos. I also bring studio lights for video to the reception space as needed for important moments, and flash (on-camera and/or off-camera) for photography.
Q. Do I need a second videographer?

A. I am very good at moving around to capture everything, but Packages 3 and 4 include my second shooter Gabryel. A second shooter is helpful when you and your partner are getting ready at different locations on a tight timeline, and allows us to capture different camera angles and bonus moments. You can choose to add my second shooter to any video package for an hourly rate. Photography packages do all include a second shooter- I feel it's important to have a second shooter for photography to make sure each moment is captured, more so than videography (because with video I can use several tripods to record different angles while shooting solo).

Q. Do you shoot all your weddings yourself?
​
A. I always work as lead photographer when booked for a photography package, and usually will work as lead video if booked for videography exclusively. My right hand-woman and head associate Gabryel will work as lead videographer when you book our company for a combination package (both photo & video), and occasionally will also work solo as lead videographer. If Gaby is assigned to your wedding, she will join us for our planning meetings on Zoom so we all become friends before the big day. I will never contract out random vendors to shoot a wedding for me.

Q. What if you have an emergency, do you have a contingency plan?
​
A. Although I pride myself in being extremely reliable, I do partner with several photographers and videographers (with similar styles and experience) to cover each other in worst case scenarios. Gabryel is my regular associate shooter for lead and second. Any emergency substitution would be subject to your approval.
Q. How long does it take to edit my photos and videos? How are they delivered?

A. 10-12 weeks is my normal turnaround for editing. I do send a sneak peak for photos within a week. You will receive a link to preview all of your photos and videos when they are completed, and encouraged to make any desired requests for edits. Once you’re sure you love it, the final copies will be uploaded to a shareable website gallery and mailed to you on a flash drive.
Q. Can you please come to our wedding and take the best authentic wedding photos and film ever for us? Please?

A. Yes! I would looove to. I ask for a 25% deposit to secure your date with flexible options for payment. I accept credit cards, Venmo, PayPal, or personal check. Full balance should be paid prior to the event date.
